Education Savings Account (ESA)

An ESA (also known as a 'Coverdell ESA') enables account-holders in the USA to contribute up to $2,000 per year until a child's 18th birthday and enjoy tax-deferred earnings as well as tax-free distributions for qualified elementary, secondary or post-secondary education expenses.
